The Second Annual Exhibition Of The Third Studio
绘画学院第三工作室第二届年展Studio III’s research focus explores the use of mixed media to present both representational and abstract content. The design intentionally preserves the raw textures of different materials—such as the seepage of watercolor stains—allowing viewers to witness the transformation of physical properties into emotional expression. The density of oil paint contrasts with the translucency of watercolors, while the modern strokes of acrylic serve as a bridge between tradition and contemporary practice. By placing diverse material-based works in dialogue, the exhibition generates new visual semantics, reflecting the hybrid nature of painting in today’s artistic discourse.
