For some time now, I've been observing the automatically generated support structures during the 3D printing process. These were originally just temporary aids to help objects take shape, usually dismantled and discarded after printing. But I gradually became drawn to these overlooked parts: small, branching, fragile, yet possessing a strange sense of life, like something that briefly grew from inside the machine.
This exhibition isn't a complete conclusion for me, but rather a process of organizing and reflecting. I've brought together the collected support structures, experimental processes, photographic records, and publications, hoping to give these things, which would otherwise never be seen, a temporary, meaningful presence.
Because these structures are three-dimensional, real objects, I also hope that viewers can approach them in space, rather than just understanding them through images. Their scale, shadows, fragility, and material traces all need to be felt in reality.
This exhibition is also my first attempt to transform my research into a space that others can enter. It's still small, and there may be many immature aspects, but to me, it feels like the first time this project has truly "stood up."
